670 Engine Parts

#1 Post by CarolinaDoo »

I have a 1999 FZ 670. Need a cylinder head. Anybody have one or know where to look? No luck with Ebay or Google.

What is wrong with your head that it needs replacing?
No track and engine? what's the point?

Lost a piston on the PTO side, beat the head up pretty good.

that is a pretty common event . find someone with a 3m buffing pad on a air tool and smooth it out
as long as the dings are minor and there are no really big craters or trenches, it will be fine and you (and the engine)
will never know the diffrence. as long as its just in the dome area and not into the sealing surface
as long as the nickes don't have sharp edges there won't be any hot spots for detanation.
you won;t change the compression either unless you really hog into it, I've done this after a machine shop in town
showed me how it was done (for a fee) and feel comfortable doing this for clients,,,,
if you can't fine the tools or need it done call me and we'll get er done!
