NSB Trail Coordinator

#1 Post by paulneva »

I remember reading that the Borough had approved the position of Trail Coordinator. Does anyone know if one has been hired and, if so, how he/she is contacted? There is a little piece of established trail across privately owned, unused, unoccupied property that I would like help in keeping open.

Paul,

The way to preserve a trail for public use is to add it to the Borough's Comprehensive Recreational Trails Plan. This will more likely than not require the agreement of the property owner. Go to the Community Planning Office on the second floor of the borough building and see Jeff Bouten. Ask him for the guide for adding a trail to the plan.
