I just called down to the lodge and they told me that I can just add my wife when we arrive.

Alright. We are leaving here (NP) around 6 a.m. There will be 3 of us all with mountain sleds. So deep snow will not be a problem. Just have to figure out which building the cafe is. Of all the times I have been down there I have never seen the cafe.

John, Also I rode the mine trail out to the Dunkel Mine area and the river is frozen over. The trail is really bumpy. There is a well defined trail on the river though. One open spot of water to cross which is maybe 3 inches deep so not bad at all. I always park at the turnout just south of the Iglo...

Is this going to be a club ride? Also where are we meeting up? Is this going to be a 2 day ride as well?

I rode Cantwell last Wednesday and Thursday. The snow there is awesome. You have to go to the Igloo or south though. We made it back to Dunkel Mine and rode above there for a day. A 121" would not be a good idea unless you pan on digging them out all day.

Will be going to Cantwell on the 27th and 28th to check out how it looks down there. I have been getting mixed reports as to what the snow levels are down there near the Igloo. If we dont go on the club ride we are thinking about heading down to sumitt as well. There will be 3 of us on my 4 place. Any word on the conditions at the first couple of hills before you get to the tit? Last we were there it was all blown away and no snow.

What are the snow conditions like on the flats? I havent been out there this year and if they are any thing like the flood control out here in NP don't think we will make this one. I too have torn up hifaxes this year and dont feel like replacing another set.

Just want to go and ride! I am up for a ride in some deep stuff. Weather it be down in the state park, summit, or any where else that has got a decent amount of snow that has not blown away.

What part of town were they stolen from? I live in North Pole and had our house broken into last Jan while we were in Iraq and had our sleds, truck etc stolen. I have been looking at all the trails, side roads etc out here in N.P. ever since. Please give me area and I will keep an eye out here in N....
