Manly Hot Springs is the best! The people are wonderful. There is no place to stay there, though you could camp out.
Another great place sorta near there is Beaver Point Lodge - the food is great. They are only open by appt. though - http://www.alaska.net/~beaverpoint/

Camped out in the Whites - Started at Davidson Ditch. Some drifting, but it was a nice ride. Road out to Ophir, then down Nome Creek. Had fun.

Trail Creek Trail – From 28 mile to Crowberry Cabin
I found the trail to be in very good condition - a couple of low snow spots - but no bare spots at all.
