Snow on Cleary Summit

We probably have a foot and a half of snow up here now and it is still snowing. Fairbanks Creek Road, Circle/Fairbanks Trail, Alpha C Trail are all great. Fish Creek is open and running so the Cleary Summit/Two Rivers Trail, (Red Trail) is blocked at the Fish Creek Crossing. Ron has groomed the Red ...

Riding on Cleary Summit

We have plenty of snow, temp. is 23 and it is windy. DOT has plowed the Fairbanks Creek Road from the Steese for 3/4 of mile to the trailhead at the junction of the Fish Creek and Fairbanks Creek Roads. They have also plowed the parking area at the trailhead. Should be great riding!

We've had several more inches up here today. If you drive out this way you won't see snow until you pass the Pedro Monum...

Riding on Cleary Summit, Mile 20.5 Steese Highway

We got 4 inches of snow yesterday added to the 2 or 3 we already had and it is snowing now. I dug out the sleds yesterday and we rode to the Chatanika Lodge today. The Fairbanks Creek Road and the Circle Fairbanks Trail are good. The red trail from the Circle Trail to Chatanika is rideable but not g...

Cleary Summit Weather

We got about 4 inches of new snow yesterday and last night. This is on top of the 2 or 3 inches we already had. I broke out the sleds about 5 yesterday afternoon and rode around the top of the hill here at Skiland on Cleary Summit. There is enough snow to keep the skegs off the dirt. Ronnie reports ...
