Thank you for the post, photos and doing the recon run up there. I didn't make it to 101 last weekend do to the wind reports.
In the future as I head up that direction I'll take some happy snaps & post a report.

I would recommened Greg Shaffer I don't know the name of his buisness but he has been an awsome help this year on the Yukon Quest trail. He is locally owned. He offers guided trips or machine/trailer rentals. Nice/news machines too. Lots of Arctic survival knowledge. Here his cell......... 388-55317...

Yes, I've been from the Central side of Summit over Rosebud down into boulder creek. The trail is in great shape. Kind of skinny on Eagle (as allways). Snowing there yesterday so that could help until the winds come along. Snow is deeper in Birch creek up to Rosebud ridge. The ridge is in good shape...

Just returned from Mile 101 Steese last night ay 6:00 P.M. (Monday) It was snowing hard through 42 mile steese. Good 3 inches on the road.

Last week Eagle Summit was reporting 5”. Now its reporting 40” WOW! ( if the gauge is correct.) http://aprfc.arh.noaa.gov/sd_pafg_sites.html

Up to 24” reported behind Eielson in the hills today.
