Mt. Prindle

John,

That's Mt. Prindle. Pinnell is up by12 Mile Summit. Went 4-wheeling up here yesterday. Still too much snow to ride to Chatanika. Had a flat and had to abandon our trip :( .

We rode from Cleary Summit to Chatanika and back last night. We have found an alternate route from Cleary Summit to the Circle Trail trailhe...

Cleary Summit riding is great!!!!!!!!!!!

The sledding on Cleary Summit is great. The Fairbanks Creek Road is plowed. If you want to ride the Circle Trail you can trailer to the trail head on the Fairbanks Creek Road. We have not had thawing temps. up here so the snow is staying. For you skiers Skiland is awsome.

I talked to the BLM again only this time I talked to Doug Stockdale, one of the folks listed on your notice. He is going to try to put a note up here tomorrow. He said this meeting is going to be very informal. Since it starts at 6 there is a pretty good window to stop by and talk to them and pick u...

BLM Website???

:( The BLM's website is down nation wide, (including the White Mountains Recreational Area website) and has been for over a week. The local office says they have no idea when it will return. Maybe they should postpone their public meeting until people can access the site. :(

It took a while. If you look behind the sled you will see that there is no track in the snow. That hole is the result of not keeping your nose up while airborne. The worst part was that my shovel was safely stashed under the cowling. I also used my thighs to modify the angle of the handle bars. :oop...

Maclaren, this last weekend, WOW!!!!

Rode into Maclaren Friday afternoon and came out on Sunday. We found a wind packed base with one to two feet of new powder on top of it. Without a doubt the best riding of this year! You could go anywhere. The really great riding is north and west of the lodge. Also the east fork of the Maclaren is ...
