Al's does have the exhaust:

But welding is definitely a cheaper option.

Don't know if the ball sizes match up, but I have a muffler from an 600 XLT that is okay at the ball, but the rest of it is shot.

Re: Borough considers change to vehicle loaning

Very interesting. My step-son won the bid to groom trails for the borough about 3-4 years ago and he was expected to have his own machine and groomer.

He did it for one year and decided it wasn't something he wanted to do again.

Re: any 4 wheeler rides planned in the near furture

Bear, the North Pole ATV group is more of sell/buy ATV's group and such with some get together's on occansion, not really a club as it were like the Snow Travelers, some one speak up if I'm mistaken here. I was wondering if there is any ATV clubs at all though. I know the Facebook "club" ...

Re: any 4 wheeler rides planned in the near furture

On Facebook, there is a North Pole ATV Club. A few have mentioned a trip around "Fairbanks-Circle" Fairbanks=Fairbanks Creek.

Is there a formal ATV club in the interior?

I think we were just across the way from you in 657.

Weather made things nasty up top, but down in the valleys was okay. I went down to Fielding Lake and it was pretty good.

Enjoyed the hotdog from Crowley and watched several racers go through. Good times.

Re: Tired Iron

Where is the refueling at?

Am I guessing right that they should be going through between 10am and 11am?

Or does the Fairbanks finish around noonish take into account refueling? So it would be more like 9-10?

Re: Tired Iron

I'm going to go out to the Tanana or Chena Lakes to watch them fly by. My guess is they will be going through at about 11:00 AM. Probably going to be more exciting through that area than anywhere else. Not sure I'd want to be on the ice where they finish. That river never really froze up that much a...

Chena Lakes Trails

Am I wrong about the trails running next to the long deep ditch being multi-use including snowmobiles? They've been grooming them and taking them down to the gravel/asphalt. I was just out there today and I typically just ride on the opposite side, but I was on my way back from playing and went up o...

Re: Sweetheart ride

Mondo is cash only. They do have an ATM, but do not rely on it for cash. It is often broke down or cannot communicate with the mothership. Plus it cost something like $5 per transaction.

Re: Rivers

It should also be noted that since summer was so wet and the rivers and lakes were so high, they really didn't drop much before they started freezing. So now they are dropping and the ice is breaking/sinking giving us overflow and sharp banks. The part I worry the most about when riding rivers with ...
