Sweetheart ride

Any details on the sweetheart ride? All I can see is meet at Chen's pump landing on Sunday. Where does it go, how long is the ride? Etc. Thanks

Re: Jan 24 Ride change

We rode McCay Creek last Monday, trails are bumpy and ice packed, but plenty of snow on the trail to ride, put your scratchers down. Not a lot of deep powder to go play in, but that's expected. All in all, a pretty good ride.

Re: Ride report Dec. 13th / Chena lakes.

Stoney, we had fun while it lasted for us. A sore neck and bum ankle, but everyone will be fine after a few days of motrin! Thanks to everyone who stepped up afte Lisa and Meredith departed the sled. Can't wait for the next ride.

Re: New to north pole

Come to Chena Lake parking area at 10 Sunday, first group ride of the season, led by Stoney. BLM has a white mountain map, but this is only my second year here so I do not know of any other maps.

If the ride is Sunday, Lisa, the kids and I are in. We can't do Saturday due to wrestling regionals.

Welcome, there are a lot of great people in this club, with an endless knowledge of the local trails. Take advantage of the group rides.

Who recovers seats around Fairbanks

I need to re-cover the seat on my older polaris, I can get a cover off e-bay or Amazon for around $90, but can't find one for the 2-up seat I have. Alaska tent and tarp says they don't do it, but will sell me the material. Thanks in advance

Re: Tolovana Hot Springs Jan 3-4

Lisa and I have friends coming to the area so I did not want to commit to anything at the member meeting, but we want to do this trip. Total would be four of us, if there is still room. If that works, Tim, how can I get you some money?

I hope the Farmers Almanac is wrong. I recruited a couple new Air Force families to the club. I can't wait for snow!

Re: ride this weekend?

Pretty good ride today... Thanks Tony for giving us the tour, we had a lot of fun. Trails were like concrete, but lot's of powder to be found, however there was about a 2" thick crust on top of it all. I think it was between 75-80 miles total. All in all, it was really fun day.
