Fairbanks Snow Travelers

I am interested Tim, if there is still room, but have a flight out of town on Monday morning, Dec 6th, at 6am. What time do you think the group will return to Fairbanks? Also, how many open spots is there - would like to bring my sons if possible?

Wish I could go John, but flying out of town until Saturday afternoon. The Whites were great a couple of weeks ago - did the 100 mile loop from Wickersham. Trail was groomed much of the way. Have fun.

As the ride leader - I'm cancelling the ride. Temps are not supposed to warm up enough tomorrow. Bummer!!!

My son and I are scheduled to lead this ride, but the forecast isn't promising from the National Weather Service. -30 Friday Night & -20 for a high on Saturday. We'll just have to keep a watch this week.

What we discussed in December's club regarding the White Mtn trip was doing the full 100 mile loop as a day trip. Haven't been to the Whites yet this year. Would be interested to hear from anyone who's rode there. James

This is the latest from the National Weather Service. Looks like the temps will be decent. James Fairbanks, AK Local Forecast Office Today Mostly clear. Areas of ice fog in the morning. Highs 15 to 30 below...except around 5 below on the hills. Light winds. Tonight Mostly clear. Lows 25 to 40 below....

Not to be negative, but it's going to be cold this weekend. Saturday's high will be -15.

I am bringing coffee with creamer and sugar. Didn't plan on Tea, and don't plan to go to town today, so if anyone wants tea, they should bring it.

I will not see you guys at breakfast at Sourdough's since I live on Murphy Dome Road. I'll see everyone at the Murphy Dome Parking Lot.
