Had a great ride on Saturday. We went 63 miles round trip. There is so much to explore and endless roads that we saw. I can't wait to get there again. Here are a few photos of the HI-YU mill that we saw.

Looks like it's time to try out my new car as a camper. Someone suggested borrowing a generator and using an electric heater to keep it warm. Hope it won't be too uncomfortable. If you see a brown Subaru on fire, that will be me.....

I was going to go, but the people I would have been staying with aren't going now. No place to stay. I may come down on Saturday only and either watch or do some riding.

We had nine people on this ride. I had a great time, but it was way too short. Two full days are needed to enjoy all the area around Alpine Creek Lodge. I'm in a room all by myself at Alpine Lodge. The top bunk is free. I have to get up at 2 am to plow snow, so call me tomorrow after 8 am at 907-378-4216.

any suggestions on what to bring for Friday night. All the good items are taken.

I will be at backwoods lodge also on Friday night.
