Fairbanks Snow Travelers

I still need to pay for my wife. I talked with the lodge last week and they told me I could just pay for her then.

I am going to have trailer space available if anyone is interested in car pooling down. I have room for 2 sleds. Anyone going on the trip is more than welcome to reply to this if you need a ride down Sat morning and returning Sunday.

I would lead but have never been to the lodge before.

If weather permets (i.e. no rain this week) will be making another run down to the cantwell area. I will have room for one sled possibly 2 if wife does not go. They are supposed to get snow this week, but also possibly rain on Monday the 15th. Reply to post if interested.

The Nenana river at Nenana has some open water spots. So you all will have to be cautious on the river it is warm down there. Break up is comming quick this year!

As much as Wife and I want to ride we don't miss NASCAR so Daytona is priority that day. But if anyone wants to ride some powder I am heading back to Cantwell on Friday with a few people I probably will have room for one more sled on my trailer if anyone is interested.

I would have to agree with dirtyrice here, no matter what brand we or anyone rides, that is some beautiful powder! Where is ours???? Our powder is down just south of Cantwell. You have to ride the Mine trail to the river and head towards the mine. The snow out there is Awesome. Takes about 30 to 45...

Good news is that Cantwell is getting snow! so it isn't all bad just have to drive is all.
