Phillips Rec post
Phillips Rec posted this on their Facebook page: Phillips Recreation So I'm looking for some input, I have been thinking about putting on small or even private riding clinics for people looking to learn new skills. If you or anyone you know would be interested contact Rick here at the shop, he can d...

Gas cap and gauge, '95 Summit
The clear plastic dome fell off at some point this summer on my Summit and I can't find it. I've just put duct tape over the top to keep the water from getting in. I'm wondering if anyone has a spare one laying around. Just about any one from a Skidoo from the 90's will work. I'll probably just buy ...

Re: Upgrading my skis
Slydogs? Is that the whole ski replacement or is that just a skin?
$350 seems like a lot of money to me. I had some skins on my Touring and I think I paid $70 for the pair. Those were 7-8" wide.

Re: Hey I'm new.
Should be pretty simple if it doesn't have electric start. Basically there are two wires. One is ground and the other is the kill. Take it to ground and it kills the engine. Typically this is connected to the input line to the CDI box, but you shouldn't have to worry about that side. Just remember, ...

Re: Upgrading my skis
wide skies are usually for powder snow. Keeps the nose up.
Ski skins are typically how people do that too.

Re: Ideas for a last spring ride
The thing about the Denali Highway out of Paxson, the first 20 miles are the heavy wind area, specially from about 6 mile to Rock creek bridge. After crossing rock creek bridge it is like someone will just turn off the huge fan creating all the wind and it is dead calm from there and past MacLaren. ...

Re: EMS Contacts for the Interior
I must of missed the story, but if this actually happened during the Iron Dog, I would place the blame more on the race organization. They have to know that with any race, specially where snowmachiners are going as fast as they do over rugged terrain, there really needs to be search and rescue ready...

Re: Paxson Lodge
I don't think I'd give up on the lodge yet. Chances are everything froze up, so it will take most of the summer to get all the problems fixed, and that doesn't even touch on any improvements. They need money, which is unfortunate that they won't be able to make money without getting everything back ...

Re: Paxson Lodge
BTW - I talked with one of the family that took the Lodge back over. They sold it 7 years ago, but it wasn't working out and the other people really let the lodge get run down. I could tell that he really wanted to go further into it, but that it was so much that he held back. He did say that they o...
