Re: Dec 5th
I know that at some point the board had made the call that the temp cut off for club rides was -15 (at the airport). Temps in the valleys can be below what is posted at the airport so something to keep in mind. Dress accordingly, it's always better to have layers so you can peel off what you don't n...

Re: Nov 28th into the Whites
Just curious if anyone has been out that way, wondering if the parking area is going to be plowed out??? You know, budget cuts and all . They can't plow on the week days, passed 2 graders yesterday, blades up on a snowy road, but by gosh, they are out at 5 this morning around here!

Re: Nov. 21st Hilltop Ride Report.
We rode that trail Saturday, it's still in the same place it's always been. The only thing that is different this year is the trail is right next to the gate instead of going down through the ditch (after you cross the road going into the gravel pit). They put a bypass around the mine but it is mark...

Borough considers change to vehicle loaning Posted: Tuesday, July 21, 2015 11:33 pm By Amanda Bohman, abohman@newsminer.com FAIRBANKS — When a trail groomer in Two Rivers crashed a new borough-owned snowmachine last winter, totaling the sled, the incident brought to light a liability issue. If the v...

Re: Bad news Paul has passed
I don't know who Vivian is but we did receive word from Neva, Paul's wife, that he passed early Sunday morning. She will provide service details when they have them. He was a good friend. Paul will be missed, he did a lot for the club and was a good man.

Re: Mar. 21st PIZZA RUN Ride Report
Just to clarify, Nick "fell" off his sled after hitting a bump in the trail. He jumped up and threw his arms in the air like a champion, lol!! Too quick for the camera. I, on the other hand, was carving and failed to finish my last turn. I wasn't "under" my sled but was next to i...

Re: Bonniefield Trail
There is a possibility that the borough trails dept. has markers that you could get for the trail that don't cost us anything. It's worth asking.

Re: SNOW RONDY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone willing/wanting to come help, anytime you can get out there is great. It would be nice to be able to give breaks to those manning the 120's so no one is there all day. The pea pot run usually is about 1-2 hours, times are noted on the poster. The radar run usually takes about the same amount ...

Re: SNOW RONDY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Due to some medical issues and prior commitments we are most likely going to be a little short handed at the Rondy this year. We keep hearing that folks want more club events throughout the year but without helping hands that is impossible. The Rondy has been going on for quite a few years now, the ...

Re: Cantwell or paxson
Drove through Cantwell area Saturday afternoon, looked like at least 6-8 inches of new stuff. The wind was kicking it around north of the igloo, trucks and trailers parked at every pullout.

Re: Snow Rondy
I had a great time too, weather being a bit chilly didn't seem to be an issue. Heck, we ARE Alaskans! A huge THANK YOU to all of the club members that came out to help, the crew from the Corp, the crew from the borough, the Kids Fun Lions club, NAOI, North Star Volunteer Fire Department, Northern Po...
