Stoney,
Are you guys planning on giving a door/raffle prize? I have a Garmin GPS 12XL that I would like to donate.

Re: '02 Yamaha Viper 700 w/ elec. start
My calendar shows the 26th as a Wednesday????????[/quote]
Yes, sorry. I must have had some fixation with the 26th, as that is the same date I wrote for the general meeting, which is on the 19th at Compeau's (and not The Outpost as was reported in the newsletter.

Membership Meeting Change!
Due to unforeseen circumstances the folks at The Outpost will not be able to host our General Membership meeting next Wednesday, October 19. Craig Compeau graciously agreed to do it at his shop. Please pass the word on to as many members as you can as there are only a few days left. Thank you, and s...

Re: Go Winter Expo 2011
From Crystal: Hello fellow Fairbanks Snow Travelers! I tried sending this out a few days ago, but it doesn't seem like it has been received, so I'm sending it again. I apologize if you get multiple copies. The Go Winter! Expo will be this weekend, October 8 and 9, at the Carlson Center. Saturday's h...

Re: Where you at?
Took the two-wheeler out to the dike roads behind the airport, started at the future site of the Tanana Lakes rec. area. Still plenty of mud at the time, almost didn't make it out on my own power. Saw a familiar sight with a guy buried up to his rear axle on his dirt bike trying to high-mark on a gr...

Re: you knew this was going to happen!
<sarcasm> But wait... these things have batteries in them, with LEAD, no less! Keep children away from them! </sarcasm> Seriously, if you take a regular one out in the boonies and you run out of fuel, no problem, you can ask one of your buddies (never ride alone, right?) for some spare fuel or a run...

Re: SnoRondy 2011
Hey John,
Nice presentation.
I am concerned with having the 120 track so close to the snowcross track... how much of a safety buffer/barrier will we have? Thanks!

February Newsletter
From Crystal: Hey everyone! I tried sending this earlier this week, but I didn't see it in my mailbox, and Juan didn't either, so I thought I better resend. Apparently the USPS decided to mess with me again this month. :shot: Juan and I went to the box and found all of the newsletters returned. I we...

Isn't this one of those "easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission" situations?

Re: Feb 13th - Sweatheart Run
It is about a 50 mile ride each way. Time will depend on you speed, route, how many times you stop and whether you get lost and have to back track (it happens). Terrain is river ice all the way, sometimes smooth, others pretty rough. It is a nice ride. My sleds are still in the shop, so we might end...

Re: January 29 Ride McKay Creek to Windy Gap
I just got a call from Chuck. He suggested I give Ron in Chatanika Lodge a call.
Ron's wife is out of town on a family matter and Ron will be by himself tomorrow.
Please be patient at breakfast.
See you there.

Re: January 29 Ride McKay Creek to Windy Gap
Bad new folks,
I was greasing the suspension on my sled when I found a broken coupler.
No wonder the darn thing was so hard to steer.
So I won't be able to lead the ride tomorrow. Sorry!
I might still join you for breakfast.
