Stolen Sleds

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to make sure your sleds (and anything else) is secure. Around 6:00 am a metallic blue step-side truck, with a "4X4" logo above the rear wheel, (sounds like a late '80s / early '90s Chevy pick-up), drove up to my house and shoveled their way to the tr...

Re: looking for suggestions from the locals

I second the flats. The snow is in great shape and the swamps are endless. I burned almost a whole tank today and didn't go more than 15 miles from the house (I live on the Chena near Pikes). If you need a guide just shout, I'm sure someone will be available to ride.

Re: Help Needed!

I couldn't have been luckier with this whole situation. Sled was there in one piece, it started up and drove out of the hills, and great guys to help me out.
Thanks again John and Dean!

I'm going to have a few people, a rope-a-long w/ 200' of rope, and a Siglin sled. What I need is someone with a...

Re: '02 Yamaha Viper 700 w/ elec. start

I wish I could bring it over on Sat. but I'm working night shifts all week. If someone was willing to take it I'd pay a fee if they sold it for me. "Like your picture" Thanks, but I wish I would have had time to take a better one. I didn't even wipe the dust off it. I looks alot better whe...

Re: This is why we ride................................Doos

You can ride like that with any sled if you've got enough ponies. This clip makes a tank look graceful.

Re: SnoRondy

What distance is the drag course going to be this year? Someone told me it was being lowered to 1/8th mile instead of 1/4. Just wondering so I can make adjustments if necessary.

Re: Snowmobile Mishaps

One of my co-workers was one of the guys who recovered the two sleds out of Summit. He rode his 121" IQ in there with a buddy and they had the stuck sleds on the trail in 20min.
Deffinately a lack of experience in this case. Glad it didn't end up worse.
