Re: Feb 4th Ride
How many miles do you think we'll run? My machine is pretty thirsty, even with an extra two gallons my range is probably 105 miles.

Re: Feb 4th Ride
I'm planning on meeting up with you to go on my first ride with the Snowtravelers. I first found the site in 2011, but work schedule and life got in the way and I haven't made a meeting or ride yet. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Maps and park boundaries
Last spring I rode south of Cantwell for the first time, I usually ride at Summit Lake. I had received directions from a friend who told me to park at Mile 196 and ride on the west side of the highway. I followed all the tracks and got into some good riding areas and had a blast. This year I was loo...

Re: February 5-6 ride
I may have prior commitments, but if I'm free I'd like to go. As a new member, is there anything I need to do before I go on a ride posted here?

Plastic runners for ramps?
My 4 place trailer came with a 4' long ramp, but the height of the trailer combined with the long track machine sometimes allows the machine to get high centered. If I get enough speed I can make it, but a longer ramp would make loading easier. I'm thinking about making a 6' long ramp and want to fi...

First time sled owner
I can't believe I'm born and raised in Fairbanks and just bought my first snowmobiles. I haven't rode them much yet, but am looking forward to getting a lot of miles in this winter. I went to Summit Lake last weekend and had a blast in the powder on the M1000. I live off Farmer's Loops and have been...
