Re: Cougar down, more than likely out.

Nick, Nick, Nick, don't give up yet... its just a bolt. it can be extracted with the proper tooling.
Could it be the skipping was due to a bad drive belt? that would explain the broken bolt.

What year is the ol cougar?

Re: Nov. 21st Hilltop Ride Report.

Nope, same same. Follow the trail around the right of the gravel pit if coming from the Elliot, and then the second left will put you on the trail to Ron and Shirleys. Nothing new here

Re: Exhaust work

If you can find the ball end of the pipe, I would be happy to cut the old one off and weld the new one on for you

Re: Ride report Mar. 28th Two Rivers.

Was another good group to sweep. But as the day went on, it was evident that we need to put something together to show some of the "lesser Experienced " folks how to get out of a stuck situation.
Perhaps next year we can find 4 or 5 feet of snow and hold a training day??

Just a thought.

Re: Mar. 21st PIZZA RUN Ride Report

I must say, that was the best group I have ever ridden sweep for. Just enough snow left for us in the back, and just enough delays to keep well rested. (thanks Murphy)and the best part was the tow rope never left its stowage.

Thanks all for a great day!

Re: 12 guage/mount suggestions

Hey Dan, Looks like the best place to hang a scabbard or gun boot is off the rear rack, I see a lot of them hanging there. I think that's where mine is going. As far as caliber, I really like the .410 for ptarmigan and grouse, and #4 shot works well for bunnies. The wifey shoots a 12gage and I let h...

Re: Rivers

I now understand what you are speaking of. You are on Badger slough. not the Chena River.. In the old days the Chena river was called a slough, that is what I thought you were asking about in your original post. correct names of these geographic places will make it easier to get all on the same page...
